Ce que l'app fait, et ce qu'elle ne fait pas

• Les contrôles de vitesse suivent la loi du pays. En France, WayCar affiche une zone de danger et jamais l'endroit exact — c'est ce que l'arrêté du 3 janvier 2012 impose. En Allemagne et en Suisse, prévenir d'un contrôle est interdit : l'app n'en signale aucun. Ce n'est pas une panne. Vous pouvez toujours en signaler aux autres.
• Elle ne vérifie pas qu'une borne de recharge est ouverte. Apple ne publie pas les horaires. WayCar donne le téléphone et la page pour que vous vérifiiez.
• Elle n'invente rien sur les places libres d'un parking ni sur son tarif.
• Elle a besoin du réseau pour calculer un itinéraire.

Vos données

Pas de compte, pas de publicité, rien de vendu. Le détail est sur la page vie privée, et l'app sait exporter et effacer tout ce qu'elle garde (Réglages, « Vos données »).

A question, a bug, a report that will not send: hugomoriceau@gmail.com. Please say which version of the app (Settings, at the bottom) and which country you were driving in — a great deal of WayCar depends on the country.

What the app does, and what it does not

• Speed checks follow each country's law. In France WayCar shows a danger zone and never the exact spot. In Germany and Switzerland warning a driver about a check is prohibited, so the app reports none — that is the law, not a fault. You can still report them for other drivers.
• It cannot confirm a charging point is open. Apple publishes no opening hours; WayCar gives you the phone number and the page instead.
• It invents nothing about free parking spaces or their price.
• It needs a network to compute a route.

Your data

No account, no advertising, nothing sold. The detail is on the privacy page, and the app can export and erase everything it keeps (Settings, "Vos données").
